In the sneakerhead community, the Air Jordan known as the “Last Shot” is a black and red model of the Air Jordan 14. But in actuality, the shoe that Michael Jordan wore when he took his last shot in the NBA was the “Sport Royal” Air Jordan 18. And if you’ve been around long enough to remember (like me), you can recall seeing this shoe worn by MJ in his last All Star game. And now, thanks to SoleHeatOnFeet, we have information on what’s soon to be a retro of that exact model.
First released back in 2003, this uniquely designed sneaker seemed to be laceless from the outside. The shoe was designed by Tate Kuerbis and inspired by race cars, as well as Italian dress shoes. Another feature that made this release special was the fact that thet came with a brush, towel and a “Drivers Manual”.
Though we don’t know whether or not the shoes will come with these same accessories, we do know that the “Sport Royal” Air Jordan 18 will be back in January. Personally, I feel the nostalgia of never having these back when is going to make me need these in my collection.
