Last month, the Air Jordan XXXII made it’s debut in the “Rosso Corsa” colorway. And up next is a colorway that celebrates the day that MJ received the letter from the NBA informing him that his sneakers violated NBA uniform rules, back in 1985. So it’s no surprise that this colorway will not only be called the “MJ Day” in honor of what happened, they will also be released on that day. To make this release even more special is the fact that they will release in both a high and low top version.
Both versions of this special release will have a black and red upper, giving them the classic Bred look. They will both feature a high tenacity, Flyknit upper which is more flexible than any Air Jordan before it’s time. They will both also have a Wings logo on the tongue, a Banned logo under the tongue and herringbone traction on the outsole which has 10:18 on it. The high top model will have ribbing through the heel and collar and a clear translucent outsole. The low top model will have a white midsole and a red translucent outsole.
The “MJ Day” Air Jordan XXXII will be releasing in both the low and high top version on October 18th. Be sure to keep up with Da Jay Way for future details on future Air Jordan news.
