This year has been filled with Air Jordan releases, some original colorways and some new. And yesterday, Jordan Brand unveiled a few of the releases we can expect to see for the remainder of the year. These releases will begin next month.
“Royal” Air Jordan 1 Flyknit
First to come of these is the “Royal” Air Jordan 1 Flyknit. The Air Jordan 1 & Flyknit technology met for the first time earlier this month in “Bred” colorway. And what better way to follow-up that release than its blue counterpart? Expect to see these to release on October 7th.
“Bordeaux” Air Jordan 12
To most, Bordeaux is a city in France known for its rich winemaking traditions. But to Jordan lovers, Bordeaux is the name of a color that’s been used as an accent color since ’91. And now, the Air Jordan 12 is receiving a full suede upper in this unique color. Expect the “Bordeaux” Air Jordan 12 to release on October 14th.
“Dark Grey” Air Jordan 12
The “Dark Grey” Air Jordan 12 is a new colorway that pays homage to the AJ 12’s legacy on and off the court. This colorway also nods to the original “Taxi” colorway with its gold lace eyelets. Expect to see this colorway in stores on November 18th.
“Altitude” Air Jordan 13
Twelve years ago, the “Altitude” Air Jordan 13 made its original debut and returned 5 years later with mesh panels. And I’m happy to see them not only returning, but also returning in its original leather upper form. Expect to see this well-loved, non-OG colorway to release on November 24th (Black Friday).
The Wheat Collection
The Air Jordan 1, 6 & 13 will be receiving winter-inspired colorways this holiday season in what’s being called the Wheat Collection. I’m sure all three of these colorways will be loved by Timberland boot lovers. The “Wheat” Air Jordan 6 releases on November 22nd, the “Wheat” Air Jordan 13 releases on November 24th & the “Wheat” Air Jordan 1 releases on November 25th.
Be sure to keep up with Da Jay Way for future news on these and other Air Jordan releases.
