As a fan of LeBron James since his high school days, it’s kind of crazy to think he’s coming up on his 15th year in the league. Regardless of whether you’ve liked him or not, it’s hard to deny what he’s been able to accomplish throughout his career. Also, from the lense of a sneaker head, his on court shoe choices have been pretty amazing at times. And later this month, Nike is bringing back the one that started it all : the “First Game” Nike Air Zoom Generation.
Fans of the sneaker, like myself, will be glad to know that this release is expected to look exactly like the OG from 2003. It also features the date 10-29-2003 stitched into the collar, paying respect to the date of his first game in the NBA.
According to Foot Locker & J23, we can expect the “First Game” Nike Air Zoom Generation to be released on August 26th. And from what I’ve heard, these seem to be QS or Quick Strike release so the numbers will be limited and the resell will most likely end up being crazy. Yet & still, I must have a pair when they drop.
